Certified Therapy Dogs Gia and Atticus will be on-site to provide comfort and regulation support to all attendees!
Gia (pictured above) is a rescue pup living her best life. Shortly after being adopted, she won the first Cleveland Magazine Cutest Pet Contest. She loves people and pups alike, and is so very gentle with all. She has been a certified therapy pup for 3 years. Gia enjoys visits with hospital staff and patients (especially the kiddos at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital), senior living buildings, libraries, schools, and special events. Gia is very friendly and quite social, joining her Mom and Dad whenever she can, especially enjoying patios at favorite restaurants.
Atticus is a French Mastiff (Dogue de Bordeaux) and one of Gia's favorite pups! Atticus was born on June 28, 2019 and was the first born of a litter of 13 puppies in southern Ohio. He is a Dogue de Bordeaux otherwise known as a French Mastiff weighing in at 130 pounds and is a very gentle soul. Atticus is a quiet dog, does not bark, has never growled, snapped or shown his teeth at anyone. He has been a therapy dog since 2021 and goes to the Cleveland VA Hospital downtown and the Cleveland Clinic in Avon, Ohio. He also participated in Night to Shine last year and was assigned to the quiet room where he received special needs teens and adults. Has worked with patients at nursing homes also.
